Order Materials

Below are the materials that we have available to purchase from Forster Mini Diggers.

All these items require delivery by Forster Mini Diggers. A flat fee of $150 is charged for delivery. For the list of suburbs we deliver to, please go to our Delivery & Service Fees page.

10mm Aggregate

10mm aggregate is a medium-sized aggregate that is often used in the construction of foundations, roads, and other infrastructure projects.

It is a strong and durable material that can withstand heavy loads and extreme weather conditions.

Uses:

  • As the base layers for roads and other infrastructure projects,
  • In the production of asphalt.

Price per tonne: $58
Minimum order quantity: 4 tonne

20mm Aggregate (Blue Metal)

Blue Metal is a construction aggregate which is crushed and screened to a consistent size, making it ideal for various landscape designs or features.

Uses:

  • In paths, driveways and  concreting
  • In drainage pits and drainage filler in pot plants or stand-alone veggie beds.

Minimum order quantity: 4 tonne

Crusher Dust (5mm & 7mm)

Crusher dust is classed as a finely crushed rock and graded from 5mm down to dust.

Uses:

  • Predominantly used as the final layer under synthetic turf. Its fine grading allows it to be spread thinly and precisely, giving a smooth, hard finish once compacted.
  • Can also be used as an alternative to stone dust.

Gabion Rock

Gabion Rock is a blue to black rough edge large format aggregate traditionally used to fill Gabion Baskets (also known as rock cages) and Mattress Rock.

Uses:

  • Retaining wall
  • Bank stabilisation
  • Land reclamation
  • Major landscaping applications to help resist erosion and prevent rock fall. 
  • To contrast plant foliage and light-coloured masonry, working well in garden designs that feature polished concrete elements with sharp architectural shapes and forms.

Road Base

Road Base 20mm is a highly compatible material ideal for high-traffic areas and other applications where a strong, durable base is required.

Uses:

  • A popular choice for unsealed roads, hardstands, driveways, paths and packing under concrete.
  • Due to having minimal clay content, this product makes a great finish for a range of applications.

Forster Mini Diggers can do it all for you.

From preparing your yard after construction or removing an old lawn to be replaced right through to the final stage of installing your lawn. We can do all or any of the stages of your turfing needs.

Excavation and soil preparation: Achieving a beautiful lawn, regardless of the type, hinges on effective preparation. We can shape and measure your lawn to meet your design requirements as well as making sure you have effective drainage, compaction, and levelling of your lawn to ensure your final lawn looks beautiful.

Soil Installation: Once you have the area prepared, installing a premium quality underlay is pivotal in your turf project. We can supply and spread your premium underlay to provide the best opportunity for your new lawn to thrive. The lawn’s ability to endure drought is significantly heightened with greater soil depth and premium soil prior to installing the lawn.

Turf choice and installation: The fun part! Once you have confirmed the turf, we can supply and lay your lawn ready for you to enjoy. Considerations for turf choice include the amount of sun or shade, maintenance/mowing and durability. Delivery is required for all materials and turf ordered. A flat fee of $150 is charged for delivery of bulk materials (selected suburbs only). If ordering turf, the cost of delivery is POA. Fill out this form with details on what you require and someone from Forster Mini Diggers will be in touch to organise delivery. Payment is required to be made prior to delivery.
