How Hiring Works with Us

At Forster Mini Diggers, we offer both dry and wet hire depending on what your needs.

For Dry Hire Only:

Select the machine or product you would like to hire. Add this to your cart and proceed to checkout. Payment is required to be made via credit card. If you would prefer to pay by debit card or bank transfer, please call us on 0417 715 990 and we can arrange this for you.

For Wet Hire:

If you require assistance or an operator, please fill out our enquiry form here and a team member will get in touch with you to arrange a free quote or offer advice.

Fuel Consumption

For machines requiring fuel, the cost of the fuel used will be deducted from the security deposit upon return.

The cost of the fuel will be charged at pump prices.

Extensions and Late Returns

If you are wanting to extend the hire of your equipment, you can do so online if the equipment is available. If the item is showing as unavailable then it must be returned by the booked time.

If the equipment is returned late you will be charged a per-hour rate based on the day rate of that item.

This amount will be deducted from your security deposit.

Security Deposit

Up to 30% of the bookings total may be charged additionally upon return of the equipment hired.

Reasons for an additional charge include:

To account for fuel usage (this is charged at pump rates);
To account for blade usage (this is calculated based on per mm used);
To cover any repairs required to the machine or equipment hired.

This will be discussed with you at the end of your booking and the amount will be deducted via the same payment method used in the original booking.
